The Taj Mahal of Bangladesh

The Taj Mahal of Bangladesh

 It is said that after the construction of the Taj Mahal in Agra, Emperor Shah Jahan cut off the hands of all the workers involved in the construction work and blinded the engineer so that no one else could build a second Taj Mahal with their help.

Although no proof of the truth of the word has been found till date. However, it is certainly true that no second Taj Mahal has been built anywhere in the world in the last few hundred years. What has happened in this century. Among those who have replicated it is the name of Bangladesh. Yes, that's right, Bangladeshi filmmaker Ahsanullah Moni did just that in 2009.

Built by Ahsanullah Mani, this architecture is located at Perab, Sonargaon, 10 miles east of Dhaka. After the construction work was completed, he referred to it as an exact replica of the original Taj Mahal. He further said that this Taj Mahal has been built mainly for the poor people of our country who cannot afford to go to Agra and see the Taj Mahal.

It was built by Ahsanullah Mani from his private property worth about ৮ 57 million. Also, where it took 20,000 workers 20,000 years to build the original Taj Mahal, Mani took only 5 years.

The main building of this replica is wrapped in transparent and precious stones. Inside are the graves of Ahsanullah Mani and his wife Razia. The building has four large minarets at the four corners, all tiled. There is a water fountain in front of it and a flower garden around it and there are seating areas for visitors on both sides.

The beauty of the Taj Mahal can be enjoyed in this shady environment. Some people sit here again and chat with their loved ones. Some people are again immersed in the beauty of the Taj Mahal in Agra compared to this Taj Mahal.

According to Mani, he imported marble from Italy, diamonds from Belgium and about 160 kilograms of bronze for the dome to build the Taj Mahal, although some people did not accept his claim. According to them, this Taj Mahal is incomplete.

The Taj Mahal is the main building of Bangladesh;

Whatever it is, it is true that Ahsanullah Mani was inspired to build the Taj Mahal just as Emperor Shah Jahan built it out of desperation. Although Ahsanullah Mani was not saddened by the loss of a loved one like Emperor Shah Jahan, he felt alienated for the poor traveling people of the country.

No matter which way separation comes, it comes because of love, isn't it! In simple words, Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal as a symbol of love for his wife. On the other hand, Mani made it out of love for the poor people of Bangladesh. Mani said that his Taj Mahal was built out of love for Emperor Shah Jahan. That is why I will call Mani a lover. And I will also call the Taj Mahal Bangladesh a symbol of love; Even if it is fake, it is still a sign of love for the people who love to travel. So it can be said that the Taj Mahal Bangladesh, located in Sonargaon, the capital of ancient Bengal, is a wonderful example of love for beauty-loving people and Emperor Sahajahan, from which you can enjoy the Taj Mahal in Agra.
